Daimler DB 18
This classic 1951 Daimler DB 18 convertible, also know as the Daimler Consort, is beautifully finished in ivory and black paintwork.
The interior is dark burgundy leather as seen in the photo below.
There is seating for up to four passengers maximum.
The DB 18 started in 1939 as a six cylinder chassis on which Daimler
and various British coach builders offered a range of bodies including drop-hard
coupes. The most common version was a four door saloon which Daimler themselves produced.
The engine was a straight six over head valve of 2522cc.
Her Majesty the Queen Mother was very fond of Daimlers.
Traditionally Daimlers were used for Royal Weddings. They never fail to impress. The appointment of the interior affords a level of comfort and character only associated with the best of British manufacturing.
